With a unique talent for mixing genres and portraying the pulse of his city\u2014the eternal protagonist of his work\u2014he has written books that are now classics, such as \u201cMotherless Brooklyn\u201d, a detective story featuring a character with Tourette&#8217;s syndrome, adapted for film by Edward Norton in 2019, and \u201cThe Fortress of Solitude\u201d, considered his most personal and memorable novel.<\/p>\n<p>This title is dedicated to his sister, translator and writer Mara Faye Lethem, who will join him on stage to discuss their literary and family relationship, as well as a career that continues to grow with \u2018Brooklyn Crime Novel\u2019. The talk will also address his role as a regular contributor to The New Yorker weekly magazine.<\/p>\n<p>English with simultaneous translation. Free admission until full capacity.
