Despite never giving up music, he officially retired from journalism at the end of 2023. In recent years, he edited and presented the Radio Euskadi programmes \u2018M\u00e1s Que Palabras\u2019, together with Almudena Cacho, and Aqu\u00ed Macondo, with Cristina Ardanza. He is also the author of the books \u2018Flores en la basura&#8217; (Hilargi Ediciones, 2003), \u2018La radio encendida\u2019\u00a0(Radio Euskadi, 2007) and \u2018Polvo\u2019 (Erein, 2010).
