He has been an editor of scientific and non-fiction books at various German publishing houses. After devoting years to the definitive edition of Kafka&#8217;s complete works in Germany, he devoted more than a decade to writing the three volumes of his monumental biography of the Czech writer, considered the ultimate biography:\u00a0Acantilado published &#8216;The Early Years\u2019 (1883-1910), \u2018The Decisive Years\u2019 (1910-1916), and \u2018The Years of Insight&#8217; (1916-1924) in two volumes in 2016.
