(Madrid, 1964). Singer-songwriter. Before her solo career, she was part of various groups and the duo \u00c1lex & Christina. Her first solo album was Que me parta un rayo, released in 1991. Mi peque\u00f1o animal came out in 1994. From 1999 onwards, she lived in New York, where she recorded her first songs in English. Some of her other albums include Lo nuestro and Un hombre rubio. Her book Debut. Cuadernos y canciones (2019) chronicles her creative process. In 2021, she starred in the film Karen by Mar\u00eda P\u00e9rez Sanz. In 2023, she composed the album Los Versos S\u00e1ficos, based on the poems of Sappho of Lesbos and her personal interpretation of them.<\/p>\n
