She holds a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Le\u00f3n, where she graduated top of her class, and a PhD cum laude from the University of Salamanca, where she received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award for the best thesis in Medicine. Her professional career has focused on cancer research, leading personalised medicine projects and exploring new cancer treatments. She combines her scientific work with specialised training at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, and is actively involved in science communication, particularly aimed at young people.
