Her stories, it has been said, \u201chave the punch of a Douglas Adams who had over-read Stella Gibbons or Evelyn Waugh, and the ambition to create a complex world like a Thomas Pynchon fan of Stephen King\u201d. Laura Fern\u00e1ndez is also a journalist and literary and music critic; in recent years, she has written mainly for El Pa\u00eds. She has two children and a stack of Philip K.
