She is particularly outstanding for her theatrical work, touring the country with dozens of shows. She has also participated in countless television series, including \u2018Vaya semanita\u2019. She began her theatrical career in the late seventies as a member of the Basque independent theatre groups C\u00f3micos de la Legua and Karraka, at the request of Ram\u00f3n Barea, founder of both. In addition to acting, she promoted and introduced theatre in schools. Her first film venture was \u2018El amor de ahora\u2019 (1986), directed by Bilbao-born Ernesto del R\u00edo.
