On television he has directed programs such as \u2018El peor programa de la semana\u2019 (The Worst Programme of the Week) and the series \u2018\u00bfQu\u00e9 fue de Jorge Sanz?\u2019 (What became of Jorge Sanz?). His film career, aside from scripts for other directors such as \u2018The Worst Years of Our Life\u2019 and \u2018The Girl of Your Dreams\u2019, runs between his successful debut with \u2018The Good Life\u2019 in 1996 and \u2018Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed\u2019, which obtained six Goya Awards, including Best Film. His trajectory as a novelist has always been linked to the publisher Anagrama.
