Indeed, her popular character Manolito Gafotas emerged out of this radio scripts. Her work, mainly published by Seix Barral, includes novels such as \u2018Something More Unexpected than Death\u2019, \u2018What I Have Left to Live\u2019 and \u2018Places I Don\u2019t Want to Share with Anyone\u2019; the diary \u2018Sleepless Nights\u2019 and her chronicles for El Pa\u00eds in \u2018Don de Gentes\u2019 and \u2018Tinto de verano\u2019. Her latest book is \u201830 Ways to Doff your Hat\u2019. She was awarded the National Prize for Children\u00b4s and Young People\u00b4s Literature, the Biblioteca Prize for \u2018A Word from You\u2019 and the International Journalism Prize in 2015.
