He was a visiting researcher at the University of Amsterdam and is currently a tenured lecturer at the University of Almer\u00eda. He has written novels such as \u2018Fabulosas narraciones por historias\u2019, \u2018Ventajas de viajar en tren\u2019, \u2018Reconstrucci\u00f3n\u2019 and \u2018Un momento de descanso\u2019, which have made him one of the most original and admired writers in contemporary Spanish literature. His latest books are \u2018Los Cinco y yo\u2019 and \u2018Grandes \u00e9xitos\u2019.
