She is the author of the short story books <em>El mes m\u00e1s cruel<\/em> (Impedimenta), awarded the Fnac New Talent Award for Literature, and <em>Viajes inocentes<\/em> (P\u00e1ginas de Espuma), winner of the Ojo Cr\u00edtico de Narrativa Prize, as well as the novels <em>Las hijas de Sara<\/em> (Alianza Editorial) and <em>El hombre de espaldas<\/em>, awarded the I Premio \u00d3pera Prima de Nuevos Narradores, 1999. She published <em>Las Ef\u00edmeras<\/em> (Galaxia Guttenberg) in 2015. In 2017 she published <em>La vida sumergida<\/em> (GG), the poetry collection <em>Da dolor<\/em> (La Bella Varsovia, 2020) and <em>De bestias y aves<\/em> (2022), also published by Galaxia Guttenberg, a novel she was awarded the Francisco Umbral Prize for. Pilar Ad\u00f3n has translated works by notable authors such as Henry James, Penelope Fitzgerald, and Edith Wharton.
