His books feature: <em>La luz prodigiosa<\/em> (1990, adapted for the cinema by Miguel Hermoso), <em>Esta noche morir\u00e9<\/em> (1992), <em>P\u00e1ginas ocultas de la historia<\/em> (1999, written with Juan Bas, as well as the TVE series), <em>El Ni\u00f1o de los coroneles<\/em> (2001, Nadal Award), <em>La mujer de las alas grises<\/em>\u00a0(2003), <em>Invasor<\/em>\u00a0(2004,, adapted for the cinema by Daniel Calparsoro), <em>Cielo abajo<\/em>\u00a0(2005, National Award for Children&#8217;s and Young People&#8217;s Literature), <em>El mundo se acaba todos los d\u00edas<\/em> (2005, Ateneo de Sevilla Award), <em>Todo el amor y casi toda la muerte<\/em>\u00a0(2010, Primavera Award),\u00a0 <em>La isla del padre<\/em>\u00a0(2015, Biblioteca Breve Award). His latest novel was <em>Arde este libro<\/em> (2021). His juvenile novel <em>El silencio se mueve<\/em> (SM, 2010), is the literary basis for the graphic exhibition illustrated by Javier Olivares and Fernando Mar\u00edas <em>El enigma Pertierra<\/em>, that Ja!
