The thirteenth edition of our festival premieres at Naukas Bilbao 2022. As an appetizer, the comedian Raquel Sastre will offer an assortment of hors d’oeuvres that will be presented as follows in the science, scepticism and humour conference menu: A medley of superstitions on a bed of lime garlic with emulsion of chata murciana*. It will be a culinary surprise that should be savoured live and carefully tasted, making sure not to spill any salt on the table. We predict a mouth-watering treat that will delight and satiate the diners. At least until the subsequent banquet courses are served, starting on 29 September. Until then, we shall avoid toasting with water.
*The chato murciano is an endangered native pig breed that is being recovered at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Murcia.
