SCHWEBLIN Y ONTIVERO

ENTREVISTA

Samanta Schweblin is one of the most powerful voices in contemporary Argentine literature and, by extension, world literature. Her narrative style is unique; it almost seems like a new genre. It has elements of fantasy, horror and, of course, humour, often dark. Her short stories have appeared in The New Yorker and her books are highly acclaimed in the United States. Before participating in Ja!, she will be touring with Good and Evil there.

Carolina Ontivero, director of the festival, will take a comprehensive look at her extraordinary work, with special emphasis on El buen mal, her latest collection of short stories which, together with three of her previous titles, has been published by Seix Barral in 2025.

Free admission until full capacity. Book signing.
