SOTO IVARS Y OLMOS

We live in an era of misinformation, where so-called post-truth takes on many guises to manipulate our perceptions. Today, the press may no longer have the power it had in the days when The New York Times or The Washington Post published the Pentagon Papers, but critical thinking and satirical humour remain essential tools for interpreting it.

This is the context for the dialogue between writers and columnists Juan Soto Ivars and Alberto Olmos. Inspired by the movement that emerged in the United States in the 1960s and 1970s—with echoes in publications such as The New Yorker—they will address the uncertain present of today’s press with their characteristic wit.

Free admission until full capacity. Book signing.
