Alfonso J. Ussía
(Madrid, 1983) is the author of the novels Cuento del norte, Vatio and Borroka. El puente de los suicidas. He is also the author of Bajo cielo (2025), a collection of chronicles about Madrid. He writes opinion columns and features for ABC, regularly contributes to Onda Cero and appears on the podcast La Cuota, alongside Juan Soto Ivars. In 2026, he received the sixth Libros del Asteroide Non-Fiction Prize for In extremis, a book about his father, the writer and journalist Alfonso Ussía.
