VIRGINIA FEITO & ENRIC GONZÁLEZ

New York State of Mind

When you set foot on New York’s asphalt for the first time, you think it will feel familiar because you’ve seen it in countless films and photographs. And it is, but not entirely. Feeling immersed in its streets has something initiatory and genuine about it for everyone because New York is a universe, but also a state of mind, unique and perhaps non-transferable.

To discuss this, we are joined by writer Virginia Feito and journalist Enric González. They will talk about their own works —notably “Mrs March” and “Historias de Nueva York”, respectively—, and other works set in New York that form a universal yet personal imaginary world. They will do so by following a route through the city mapped out by poet and journalist Bruno Pardo Porto.

Free admission until full capacity is reached. Book signing.
