CONVERSATION
This edition, dedicated to New York, highlights the presence of writer Jonathan Lethem, one of the most imaginative and playful storytellers of the last three decades. With a unique talent for mixing genres and portraying the pulse of his city—the eternal protagonist of his work—he has written books that are now classics, such as “Motherless Brooklyn”, a detective story featuring a character with Tourette’s syndrome, adapted for film by Edward Norton in 2019, and “The Fortress of Solitude”, considered his most personal and memorable novel.
This title is dedicated to his sister, translator and writer Mara Faye Lethem, who will join him on stage to discuss their literary and family relationship, as well as a career that continues to grow with ‘Brooklyn Crime Novel’. The talk will also address his role as a regular contributor to The New Yorker weekly magazine.
