Agustín Fernández Mallo

(A Coruña, 1967) is a physicist and writer. He is the author of novels including Nocilla Dream, Nocilla Experience and Nocilla Lab, collected as the Proyecto Nocilla, as well as Limbo, Trilogía de la guerra (Biblioteca Breve Prize) and El libro de todos los amores. He has also published essays including Postpoesía, hacia un nuevo paradigma, Teoría general de la basura and La forma de la multitud, as well as the poetry collections gathered in Ya nadie se llamará como yo. In 2022, he received the European Union Prize for Literature for the Proyecto Nocilla. His most recent novel is Madre de corazón atómico (2024), and in 2026 he published El ángel de la inteligencia artificial, a reflection on artificial intelligence.
