Ana Iris Simón

(Campo de Criptana, Ciudad Real, 1991) studied in public schools in Aranjuez. After that, she studied Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the Rey Juan Carlos University while working at Desigual as a shop assistant and at the Telefónica building on Madrid’s Gran Vía as a guide. She began her career as a journalist in the Lifestyle section of TELVA magazine and, after that, she was an editor at VICE España and a scriptwriter at RTVE’s Playz. Her first book is called ‘Feria’ (Círculo de Tiza, 2020) that, after selling more than twelve editions, has become a literary and social phenomenon. She is currently a columnist for El País and contributes to various media outlets.
