Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón

(Logroño, 1972) is a mathematician, researcher and science communicator. He is a professor at the University of La Rioja, where he conducts research in computational algebra. Winner of the Spanish edition of the FameLab science communication competition in 2013, he is one of the founders of Big Van Ciencia and the creator of the YouTube channel Derivando. Since 2019, he has presented the science programme Órbita Laika on La 2, the Spanish public broadcaster RTVE’s second channel. He is the author of books including Inteligencia matemática, El árbol de Emmy, Apocalipsis matemático and Invitación al aprendizaje.
