Juan Soto Ivars

(Águilas, Murcia, 1985). Author of essays, novels and newspaper columnist, currently writing for El Confidencial. His 2017 essay Arden las redes (The Networks Are Burning) and 2021’s La casa del ahorcado (The Hangman’s House) had a significant impact. Some of his novels include La conjetura de Perelman (Perelman’s Conjecture), Ajedrez para un detective novato (Chess for a Novice Detective) and Crímenes del futuro (Crimes of the Future). His most recent book is the 2024 essay La trinchera de las letras (The Trench of Letters).
