Lola Barroso

(Villafranca de los Barros, Badajoz, 1980). Pianist and clarinet player. Musical Director. Head of press and communication at Nórdica Libros. She is one of the most acclaimed accompanying pianists in the Madrid theatrical milieu. Among other plays, she directed the production Amado Mío, featuring as pianist and actress; pianist in Leo Bassi’s children’s productions Magic Melody and A Crazy Christmas Show; pianist and musical director of Pareja Abierta, El Musical, by Dario Fo; musical director and pianist in the musicals The Addams Family and Young Frankenstein; pianist, composer and musical director of Beethoven#Für Elise, a musical production staged by Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, winner of the FETÉN 2021 Award for best musical for family audiences. She was a contributor to the summer edition of the radio programme No es un día cualquiera (It’s not just any day) for five years. At present, she participates in the programme La Sala, both on RNE (Spanish National Radio).
