Lola Barroso

(Villafranca de los Barros, Badajoz, 1980). Pianist and clarinet player. Musical Director. Head of press and communication at Nórdica Libros. She is one of the most acclaimed accompanying pianists in the Madrid theatrical milieu. Among other plays, she directed the production ‘Amado Mío’, featuring as pianist and actress; pianist in Leo Bassi’s children’s productions ‘Magic Melody’ and ‘A Crazy Christmas Show’; pianist and musical director of ‘Pareja Abierta, El Musical’, by Dario Fo; musical director and pianist in the musicals ‘The Addams Family’ and ‘Young Frankenstein’; pianist, composer and musical director of ‘Beethoven#Für Elise’, a musical production staged by Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, winner of the FETÉN 2021 Award for best musical for family audiences. She is the composer and musical director of ‘Clown Quijote de La Mancha’. She was a contributor to the summer edition of the radio programme ‘No es un día cualquiera’ (It’s not just any day) for five years. At present, she participates in the programme ‘La Sala’, both on RNE (Spanish National Radio).
