Maribel Verdú
(Madrid, 1970) is an actress. She has worked with some of the leading directors in Spanish and Latin American cinema, in films including El año de las luces, Belle Époque, La buena estrella, Y tu mamá también, El laberinto del fauno, Siete mesas de billar francés and Blancanieves. She has received two Goya Awards, the Spanish National Cinematography Award and the Gold Medal of the Spanish Film Academy. Her most recent work includes Bajo tus pies, her first horror film. In 2025, she received the Rafael Azcona Award at the Octubre Corto Festival.
