Olga Tokarczuk

(Suléchov, Poland, 1962) Considered one of today’s best female writers. She received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2018, and has been awarded prizes such as the Brueckepreis and the Nike, the most prestigious prize awarded in her country. The author of nine novels and three books of short stories, her works have been translated into forty-five languages. The following have been translated into Spanish: the novel Sobre los huesos de los muertos (Siruela, 2009), the graphic novel El alma perdida (2017; in Anagrama, the novels: Los errantes (2016), Man Booker International Prize 2018 and National Book Award finalist; Un lugar llamado Antaño (2020), the magical story of a village and its eccentric inhabitants; and Los libros de Jacob (2023), which is considered her greatest work to date.
