(Santurtzi, Bizkaia, 1960) a lyricist and voice of the famous Basque radical rock band Zarama. In 1983, he began appearing on Radio Euskadi, and since then, he has combined music with journalism, both in the written press and on the radio, participating in all kinds of programmes, from news programmes to comedy sketches. Despite never giving up music, he officially retired from journalism at the end of 2023. In recent years, he edited and presented the Radio Euskadi programmes ‘Más Que Palabras’, together with Almudena Cacho, and Aquí Macondo, with Cristina Ardanza. He is also the author of the books ‘Flores en la basura’ (Hilargi Ediciones, 2003), ‘La radio encendida’ (Radio Euskadi, 2007) and ‘Polvo’ (Erein, 2010). He has just published the memoir, ‘Puto Boomer’ (Liburuak, 2024).
