One of Ja!’s unmissable annual events returns: the festival’s regular feature in which a guest selects ten comic scenes and discusses them with Juan Bas as they are shown on screen.

This year’s guest is filmmaker and writer Rodrigo Cortés, director of Buried, Red Lights and Escape, who has just published his third novel, Hija del cielo. His distinctive perspective on the language of cinema, combined with his sharp sense of humour, promises one of the most entertaining sessions in this festival classic.

Free admission, subject to capacity. Book signing.
Ja! Festival Friends: priority seating in the front rows with prior registration.
