Welcome to Ja!
International Festival of Literature and Art with Humour

EDITION 2025
9 – 20.10.2025 BILBAO
Welcome, New Yorkers by birth or by devotion, inhabitants of sophisticated Manhattan that breathes through the pages of The New Yorker and explodes in the hilarious sketches of Saturday Night Live. Detectives from Brooklyn, dancers from Studio 54, insects whispering stories in the New York Public Library: we are all part of a territory set in that capital of the world that vibrates between reality and dreams.
In a year of anniversaries of some of its greatest icons, we dedicate this edition to the City. Literature, humour, music, cinema and much more are part of a programme designed for you to enjoy and participate in. King Kong has already come down from the Empire State Building to join the party. We look forward to seeing you there.
