Asier & Javier
Asier Sanz (1969) and Javier Gamboa (1965), cartoonist and script writer respectively, form this pair of graphic humourists. They define themselves as “two human beings that are lucky enough to devote themselves to laughter and to be from Bilbao”. They have published in Diario 16, Diario Metro, Deia and El Jueves, among other outlets. In 2013 they published the comic strip “¡Sálvese quien podamos” and won the 6th Caragoler International Graphic Humour Competition. They collaborate in the newspaper Bilbao.
