Gisela Baños

Gisela Baños is a theoretical physicist, writer, proofreader and science, technology and science-fiction communicator. She studied Physics at Leipzig University and has spent more than a decade researching the history and critical analysis of science fiction, particularly its relationship with science and its ability to reflect on the contemporary world. She has contributed to publications including Muy Interesante, Astronomía and the University of the Basque Country’s Cuaderno de Cultura Científica, and regularly appears on RNE’s programme Cruce de cables. She is the author of El sueño de la inteligencia artificial (Shackleton Books), a history of artificial intelligence, and is also active as a science communicator on social media.
