Javier Cercas

(Ibahernando, Cáceres, 1962) is the author of novels such as Soldiers of Salamis, The Anatomy of a Moment, The Impostor and the recently published El monarca de las sombras. All his works are published by Literatura Random House. His work also includes an essay, La obra literaria de Gonzalo Suárez; and three miscellaneous volumes: Una buena temporada (1998), Relatos reales (2000) and La verdad de Agamenón (2006). His books have been translated into more than thirty languages and have obtained several national and international prizes.
