(Barcelona, 1961) is the author of a handful of Spanish rock songs that have become classics. At the end of the eighties, at the peak of his fame, he left behind the electric guitar and the group he played in (Loquillo y Los Trogloditas) to devote himself exclusively to books. He surprised with his debut Corre, rocker (2000), praised by critics and the public alike, which was followed by Limusinas y estrellas (2003) and Hotel Tierra (2006), a happily ironic look that serves to soften the toughness of the experience. He then published Historia del hambre y la sed. He is now returning to Anagrama with Literatura universal, his most ambitious work. He continues to play and occasionally compose.
