Tor Magoa
(Getxo, Bizkaia, 1982) A graduate in industrial engineering, he claims that he was born a magician: “It was in 1982, in Algorta, under the name of Aitor. Even so, I didn’t realise it until I was four years old. I was wandering through life, until one fine day my aitite performed magic for me with some cards he had at home. At that moment, all the nonsense I had suffered in my first four long years of existence succumbed to magic. A path of no return opened up, separating me from mere mortals. I read, learned, practised and performed in front of everyone who wouldn’t turn around”. He has staged more than two thousand performances for children, adults and animals, in Basque, Spanish and English. He is a regular contributor to Euskal Telebista. He has participated in programmes such as 3Txulo, Sorgintxulo and Magoak, on ETB1 and ETB3.
