As one half of the cult comedy duo Faemino y Cansado, Javier Cansado (Madrid, 1955) is one of Spain’s greatest comedians. He participates in several television, podcast and radio programmes. Among these, his long-running participation in ‘Ilustres Ignorantes’, together with Javier Coronas and Pepe Colubi, and in ‘Todopoderosos‘ and ‘Aquí hay dragones‘, with Rodrigo Cortés, Arturo González-Campos and Juan Gómez-Jurado, are particularly noteworthy. He is also a regular contributor to ‘A vivir que son dos días’, Javier del Pino’s programme on Cadena SER. As an actor, he has participated in several Spanish films and series such as ‘Airbag’, ‘Torrente’ and ‘El fin de la comedia’.
