(Madrid, 1967) is one of the most outstanding authors of her generation. Among her narrative works, published mainly by Anagrama, stand out ‘Un buen detective no se casa jamás’, ‘La lección de anatomía’ or ‘Farándula’, the satire with which she won the Herralde Novel Prize. She is also the author of several collections of poems and essays and is a regular contributor to the cultural sections of El País and El Cultural of the newspaper El Mundo. Her latest novel is ‘Persianas metálicas bajan de golpe’, where drones are as intelligent as they are disquieting.
