
Rubén Amón
(Madrid, 1969) has worked in almost every genre as a journalist (from bullfighting, cultural and sports criticism to newspaper columns), has been a correspondent in Rome and Paris, has covered conflicts in the Balkans and has worked in radio (Onda Cero), television (Antena 3) and the press (currently at El Confidencial). For this versatility and his ‘ability to entertain, with irony and humour, without sacrificing rigour’, he was awarded the Francisco Cerecedo Journalism Prize in 2018. He is also the author of several essays, including the biography of Plácido Domingo, Un coloso en el teatro del mundo (Planeta, 2012).
