Mercedes Cebrián
(Madrid, 1971) She is a storyteller, poet and journalist. Her most outstanding works include the poetry collections ‘Muchacha de Castilla’ and ‘Malgastar’, and the chronicle book on gastronomy ‘Burp. Apuntes gastronómicos’, the essay ‘Verano azul: unas vacaciones en el corazón de la Transición’, the short story books ‘El malestar al alcance de todos’ and ‘La nueva taxidermia’, and the novel ‘El genuino sabor‘. The latter three have been published by Literatura Random House, as well as her latest book, ‘Cocido y violonchelo‘. Her stories, poems and essays have been published in Revista de Occidente, Letras Libres and Gatopardo. She is currently a collaborator in different media, including El País, La Vanguardia and The Objective.
