Guillermo Altares
Guillermo Altares is a reporter for various sections of the newspaper El País, where he has held several positions of responsibility, including editor-in-chief of International, elpais.com, and head of the cultural supplement Babelia. He has worked as a special correspondent in more than 20 countries, including the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Lebanon. He has given lectures at Spanish and international universities and is a professor of journalism at the El País / UAM School. He has also worked for the France Presse agency and the now defunct newspaper El Sol.
